“It’s always a beautiful day in the Bay”

I had a day off and decided to hit up Morgan Territory Regional Preserve for a dope hike. The trails were a bit slippery but tons of fun. My doggies and I ran through parts of the trail, and slow walked others. We hiked about 2 miles or so out to Shiba Spot, got some super dope views of Mount Diablo, and kept going another mile before we turned back around to complete the loop. The mushrooms and other forms of biodiversity here was most beautiful!! I’ll show these in the next post❗️

The Final Hike of 2022 - 400th post 🥲

My wife and I both had an off day, so we decided to take ourselves and the doggies out for, you guessed it, a dope hike out to one of my favorite regional parks, Morgan Territory Regional Preserve. Instead of going up N. Livermore to Morgan territory Road to the main staging ground, we decided to park off of old Finley Road in San Ramon, and hike up the road to the trail entrance, as there is no parking and no staging area here. As we continue to hike, we got to see a part of the tri-valley that I rarely get to see, the old country side.

The trail itself was rather unimpressive until we begin our assent to the top of the hill, at which point we were greeted with spectacular views of my favorite mountain, Mt. Diablo. We saw a few turkey tails on trail and got a few pictures of some nice views before departing back down the trail.

With the rain that began to come in along with the holidays, this ended up being the last take of the year. But as all 90+ of the hikes that I took last year were, it was amazing!! A perfect scene, and in my opinion a perfect ending to a really good year.

Big shout out to my wife @stay2434 for always coming out to hike with me, supporting my dreams and taking amazing pictures that I like to steal and use without photo credit. 😂 You get all the credit my love.

Thank you 2022. You were a real one. Onward to the hikes of 2023‼️

Queen City pt. VI

Final Chapter

I finished the Mallard Creek Greenway at around 13:00 HRS est. 11 miles of hiking in water shoes will take the energy out of ya. But I enjoyed every bit of it‼️

North Carolina is so beautiful, and Charlotte is a true gem. If you get a chance, catch a flight out here and enjoy the natural beauty that the Queen City has to offer!!

Enjoy the duck videos‼️

🚨‼️5 Favorite Hikes Of Da Year‼️🚨

January 19th, 2022 - Mount Diablo

Early this year, me and my brother @danieltheexplorerr made plans to hike together. I had mentioned to him that I had never hiked to the summit of Mount Diablo before. His response? Say less‼️

This was my first time hiking to the summit of Mt. Diablo, and I admit I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting into at the time, going for a nearly 5k ele gain hike, and summiting 3 peaks, but I was quite confident that hiking with a seasoned pro like Daniel would pay awesome dividends to that said purpose. And so it did, we saw waterfalls, beautiful vegetation, and astonishing January views of the Bay Area in all its glory❗️

Meeting up and hiking with my brother started the beginning of a dope relationship, over the year we have become great friends. This hike was the one that started the saga of 460 miles gained and over 90k feet elevation this year. I have basically climbed Everest 3 times this year 😂😂

Big shoutout to my brother-In-Hikes Daniel the Explorer and thank you for taking me out on this early January hike my guy. This hike, I can say with certainty, is one of my five favorite hikes of the year‼️

As I mentioned last year, these come in no order, and I love all the hikes I have done, but this and the next four are the ones that were the most prominent in my hiking year 🙏🏿

November 3, 2022 - Vacaville

Back to the Bay Area hikes!!! This was my second hike back in the Bay Area since my North Carolina trip, and it was awesome. I felt at peace here, and Keemo definitely loved it. Pena Adobe is a beautiful hike, and I certainly can’t wait to get back here to do it again‼️

It was a freezing 36° at start time, but we persevered and got to Make it to the peak❗️Until next time Peña Adobe 😌🙏🏿

August 19, 2022 - Crowley Lake Columns part III

On this final iteration of the Lake Crowley saga, Steph, the doggies and I got to see a cave that was hidden on the other side of Lake Crowley. We had to walk through the water to get there, but thankfully, we decided to wear our water shoes for the excursion. The cave was absolutely beautiful, and I wish we had more time to explore the rest of this majestic palace known as Lake Crowley Caverns‼️

Enjoy the videos of Keemo and Babygirl swimming at the end!! Seeing my dogs swim together was def a real treat❗️

Also, I hear it is national hiking day, I feel compelled to say it loud lol. Happy National Hiking Day ‘22‼️
