3 years ago I would’ve never guessed I would be leaving NSU with a new found family. These people and this school have changed my life forever. From classmates, to professors, even to the hard working ladies at the chick fil a. I couldn’t be more proud of us and all our hard work. I wish I could find the words to describe how grateful I am for all of my experiences here, all the opportunities i’ve been given, all the beautiful theatre i’ve been apart of. I have been able to fully blossom here and show everything I have to offer thanks to the endless support from my peers and professors. I couldn’t have imagined my college experience being any better. Leaving feels impossible right now, as winnie the pooh says, “how lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” I love my people forever, this is NOT goodbye, it’s just see you later💜🧡

What would musical theatre be without you, Stephen? This show taught me so much. It was the most singing I've ever done for a show with some of the hardest music in musical theatre canon. As a character driven performer, I liked that I could step away from motivations and let the beautiful music shine. I couldn't have done it without the most beautiful cast in the entire world, and I'm so glad that we all got so much closer in the process. You guys rock the absolute shit out of everything, and this show was no exception. I've gained real appreciation for this career (3 hour shows back to back is no joke), and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of such an amazing production.

ROOSEVELVIS!!!!

Wow!!!! Such an unforgettable experience, working on this show. I learned so much about myself as a performer and as a techie. Penelope was a character that I had the pleasure of creating from scratch. Sean had an idea, and completely let me run with it.
Of course, @valeriee.eh and @jaykespeare were the most amazing cast members. Along with @lina_encalada and @charlysse_ , the most amazing stage managers. Thank you to everyone who made this show run so smoothly!

Penelope will forever miss those damn wires!

I still cannot believe I got to do this. I remember reading it last semester and thinking, "I feel like this is my dream show. Gay people, drag, and high emotion. It's all I've ever wanted." RoosevElvis is such an incredible work of theatre, and it came to me at exactly the right time. Of course, I wouldn't have been able to do it without my incredible cast mates @valeriee.eh and @abbydelanoix and stage managers @lina_encalada and @charlysse_. You guys helped make this show what it is, and I can't say thank you enough for creating the most incredible environment to work in.

I will never be able to think about Mount Rushmore, a single Elvis song, Thelma and Louise, or President Teddy Roosevelt the same again (all for good reasons). Thank you. Ann.
