Bought myself something for my birthday!!

A few weeks ago I saw a post from @parts for somethings he found lying around the crypt, noticed right away the picture of the 2012 King of the Road jersey and jokingly claimed it, well a couple days later it popped up on @spacepupil so I went and checked it out and I bought it. Turn out Al shipped it out on my birthday with a hand written note some stickers and a little back story!!
I'm definitely about to wear this shit on special occasions and when I'm not it's going on the wall right next to last year's gift to myself (which I still haven't made a post about) if you don't know what king of the road is then do yourself a favor and look it up on YouTube and watch all the 2012 and 2016 webisodes on @thrashermag and @vice

PIGEON RELIGION - my first feature doc - is having its world premiere with @rooftopfilms at Brooklyn Army Terminal on Saturday June 13th, which is National Pigeon Appreciation Day!!!

The film follows @motherpigeonbrooklyn , @live_action_fyl , @carlos6085gonzalez , @houdinistyle and other New Yorkers whose lives have become intertwined with the city’s most misunderstood bird.

Honored to be part of their 30th year of programming, and honestly couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect New York home for this film. Tickets in bio!!!

with some guest filming by @jimmycarlin
This was the first official project we got to make together.
Sean and I met the summer after I graduated high school, on MySpace. He had recently moved to San Diego from Florida and was looking for a solid crew to skate and film with. We of course adopted him. He and I became pretty much instant best friends and ended up living together for the next 4 years. We even shared a room for a period and would watch the same handful of movies over and over every night as drifted to sleep (probably after 6-12 beers). Love you, Sean

Split Clothing went out of business on October 13th, 2008, the same day their warehouses received 50,000 copies of Demons in the Attic on DVD and barely two weeks before the video was scheduled to premiere. All plans for the video were cancelled and legend has it all those DVDs were destroyed, although some team riders and employees managed to salvage a few copies. Some clips from Demons in the Attic were recycled for other videos, some parts were completely repurposed for other projects, and some riders used that footage to find a new clothing sponsor, but a lot of that footage was simply lost to the ages, until the video finally surfaced in 2015. Here’s a snippet from everyone’s parts; the full video is on YouTube if you want a quick blast of late-00s nostalgia.
