After all the hard work, creativity, and heart that went into making our short film, we’ve made the decision to take the next step and submit it to the film festival circuit! 🎬
I couldn’t be more proud of Al for writing and directing this film and bringing our vision to life. What started as an idea has become something we’re now ready to share with audiences and filmmakers beyond our own circle.

They say they’re just capturing memories and innocently sharing their lives- but what happens when the person your entire business depends on, decides they’re done performing.

One More Take is a dark comedy about the blurry line between documenting your family online, and monetizing it. The priority is no longer about protecting their kids, it’s about protecting the business, status, and lifestyle they have created. 🎬

When we were expecting, we made the decision to keep our daughter off the internet. Not just to protect her privacy, but to ultimately protect her childhood and allow her to be a kid. What initially felt like a fun, creative way to share our journey as parents, (putting Jon in a bow) quickly made us feel more grounded in that choice the second we met our daughter.

We work in an industry that has little to no regulation around family content creators and felt inspired to create a film that spread the message. Kids are not content.

When the Tinder algorithm sent me an Italian man with tattoos almost 10 years ago, I hesitated for a second and thought, “Does this seem like the kind of guy who will move into my grandma’s basement with me while we build a videography business… only to eventually go from behind the camera to starring as our future daughter on social media and, years later, encourage me to write and direct a film where I make him wear a bow and a skirt while two actors play his influencer parents?”

The answer, apparently, was yes.

So I swiped right on a man who has spent the last 10 years pushing me to chase every dream, take every risk, and believe in every cringey creative idea I’ve ever had. Despite the wardrobe requirements 🎀

Anxious attachment (aka unworthiness) takes a tolllll.

In this pod episode, my client Sean talks about how he looked happy on the outside, but his inner world was a different story.

“Spiraling was my hobby”.

We laugh about it here, but if you’ve experienced the stress of being completely consumed by a negative thought — it’s no laughing matter.

It takes you out. It controls your life.

One thought spirals into an inescapable emotional vortex of unworthiness, hopelessness, and despair.

“Anxious attachment” at its core is an unhealed wound of low self worth.
