What makes students want to show up? Sometimes, the best people to ask are the students themselves.

Six @seatondc Elementary students sat down with #DC education leaders to share what makes them feel connected, supported, and like they truly belong at school.

Their message was clear: belonging matters. And when we listen to students, we can build schools they want to be part of.

Do you love a project? Or maybe you just want a sneak peek of our swing space? Join us this Saturday to help get our school ready for the new year! We will have projects around the building, including setting up classrooms, unpacking boxes, and making common spaces welcoming for our students. Students are also invited to bring family pictures for our entryway and hallways - we would love to decorate our temporary space with familiar faces!
