This past Monday I got to try out my friend @tedmannschaller’s latest game “Counterpoint” for the first time and this is the first time in a while I’ve had so much fun learning music! A cooperative trick-taking game, the goal is to work together with your fellow animal concerto members in order to play a famous music piece to its completion. You do so by betting how many notes (cards of your own suit) you will take by the end of the round, using your intuition and fellow musicians to receive the correct amount. If every musician completes their note objective, you’ve played the piece successfully and win! What I love about the game is not just the amazing illustrations and artwork, but the clever integration of classical aspects in a way that has you communicating with your fellow players. There was a feeling of satisfaction at the end of a successful piece that felt great and very much like I was back in choir learning a new song. You can try out the game for yourself in person next Monday, May 25th, at the @seattlegaymers meetup at Stoup Brewing (6:30pm start) OR reserve a copy when the game kickstarter goes live on Tuesday! Counterpoint is plenty fun and I know I’ll be grabbing a copy in a quick measure of time. 😉🎶 #cardgame #games #kickstarter #seattle #gaming

The other day I got my pics from the Halloween party. Such a fun and almost perfect night. Folks had some amazing costumes. I actually got to help judge the costume contest and it wasn't easy. People really enjoyed my costume too, I loved getting pics together with the other cheerleaders. . 📷: @jbphotosea . #seattlecosplay #pnwcosplay #nerd #blerd #blerdcosplay #blackcosplay #blackcosplayer #cosplay #cosplayer #poccosplay #bringit #bringiton #clovers #eastcomptonclovers #cheerleader #cheerleaders #cheerleading #halloween #halloweenseason #halloween2025 #halloweenparty🎃 #halloweenparty #spookymonth #spookyseason #october #seattlegaymers #seattlegaymershalloween

Been having a very busy past couple weeks. Went to almost all the FIFA Club World Cup games hosted in Seattle, especially the games my Seattle Sounders played in. (As the only MLS team to qualify for the competition legitimately and not just be gifted a spot last second for weird reasons.) Got to see a bunch of interesting and competitive games. Got to watch both UEFA Champions league finalists too. Also got to help run Seattle Gaymers yearly Pride party. That was so much fun!! Got to see so many friends. . #seattle #sounders #seattlesounders #seattlesounders⚽️ #seattlesoundersfc #soundersfc #soundersmatchday #ebfg #ravegreen #futbol #soccer #fifa #fifaclubworldcup #fifaclubworldcup2025 #clubworldcup #clubworldcup2025 #takeittotheworld #summer #seattlesummer #summerfun #pride #pridemonth #seattlegaymers #prideparty #gay #bi #bisexuel #pan #pansexual #seattlepride
