Andres and I said “I do” in a last-minute ceremony, so his beloved grandmother, Alice Jo, could celebrate with us. She showed up, sparkled like only she could, and passed away three days later, but not before she witnessed her grandson start the next chapter of his life. Her final memory was one filled with love, joy, and family, which is exactly how she lived.

No surprise baby (seriously no bun in the oven), just a lot of love and the reminder that sometimes life doesn’t wait for the perfect plan (although September 13, 2025 was perfect).

Sometimes it feels like the world is falling down around you, especially now with everything that’s going on. Anxiety can be paralyzing. I wrote this song as an escape from it, because at the end of the day worrying about something happening only increases the anxious feeling you may have. This song, is me talking to myself to remember to live life, enjoy the small moments and breathe? Does anyone else relate to this? Maybe if you do share it with a friend for comfort or let me know if in the comments if you do!
