A Phoenix rising from the flames symbolizes change & resurrection. This seems very fitting as we start our year of 2025 fresh, with new hope & ideas for the year ahead🔥🔥🔥

I love the start of a new year. The holidays give me time to reflect & whenever I slow down working a little, new ideas start to fill the space.

What would you like to let go of from last year? Because the key is to let some things go. We can’t progress if we are stuck in the past. Our habits & our comfort zones keep us in old versions of ourselves & I really believe we can step into a new version of ourselves at any point. We just have to start doing things differently, starting now!✨

I finished 2024 by making a scary decision. Now in 2025 its up to this new version of me to follow through. I’ll be sharing more on that if, or when things start to fall into place!

Who would you like to be THIS YEAR? What brave moves can you make to show yourself that you’re ready to move forward?

If you feel like sharing your plans for the year, I’d love to hear from you, in a comment or private message ✌️

The phoenix bird symbolizes immortality, resurrection and life after death 🔥🔥🔥

It’s an iconic image & as a tattoo it can show that we have the strength & resilience to rise from the flames.

I love how tattoos like this can empower us, remind us of our own strengths & mark important changes in our lives.

Thanks Seb, for the trust & patience to make this happen. Also for sharing your story & choosing me to paint your picture!

If you like my posts, I’d really appreciate if you through an emoji in the comments. It really helps me to get get seen & connect with more of you awesome people!!!✌️

We're having a busy early season here at @pikalandscapes ☀️

Alongside other projects, we've been adding some much needed compost to the planters on the Whistler Village Stroll all of this week ⚒️

Ticked off my 11th @crankworx and couldn’t help but get all warm and fuzzy thinking about it. ⏪ Rewind back to the time I volunteered for an event I’d never heard of and won a bike, it’s safe to say these phenomenal people changed my life 🤘 Beyond grateful for the opportunities this circus has put in my lap and it’s an absolute honour to be back on this team. Lemme know if I missed your tag and I’ll throw it on 🤗 📸: @jayfrench || #Crankworx #Crankworked

20 years ago I won the Whistler Blackcomb Freeride Championships and proceeded to follow the tour to a variety of expansive mountain ranges. I met new friends, rode new lines and won the world tour, which catapulted me into a steep physical and mental boundaries learning curve. I am feeling grateful to return to Whistler where my big mountain journey began. Thankful for the opportunity to support young athletes to respect themselves, each other and the mountain. Many thanks for another safe and successful event and to my love @jonimargueritemartin for taking care of the home of the heart.
