Highlight of the week was an invite to the very glamorous @secondacthello @hellomag party to celebrate The Power List ‘26! If anyone had told my younger self that the 64 year old me would be a content creator spreading the positive ageing message and rubbing shoulders with so many incredible powerful inspirational women – I wouldn’t have even known what that meant 🤗🤦🏽‍♀️😬🤣

The event was to celebrate us - midlifers and beyond - who are paving the way for a powerful SECOND ACT - and hopefully inspiring others to do the same!

What a night! The joy and the group of inspirational women in the room said it all! Let’s embrace this next chapter!!!

There is truly nothing quite like being in a room surrounded by unstoppable women who are unapologetically stepping into their power, redefining midlife, and proving that our second act is always our best act. I just got home from @hellomag @secondacthello Power List party sponsored by @lorealparis our second one!!! It makes me so so proud to be Second Act Podcast Host sharing stories from formidable women in midlife and beyond!!!! This is how we change culture. I’m on my @capcutapp but this reel basically sums up the night….freedom, joy, turning up, sisterhood, empowerment & midlife zero fucks given. I didn’t think this would be on my bingo card for a Tuesday night & it makes me so proud. To anyone who needs to hear it life only gets better & more fabulous when you step into your power. So@many of us including myself were taught as Gen X women to be good girls, lower our tone & play nice for the patriarchy & it’s so liberating to unlearn so many lessons & to know that collaboration is everything & it was a room full of the most excellent & talented women being kind & joyful with each other & this is my kinda party & society I want to twirl in & for my daughters to grow up in!!!
