Austin has a lot of men that need more faith and fitness, but not many spaces where we combine the two and focus on brotherhood in the name of Jesus.

@madeformoreretreats is creating that space. God has put it on our hearts to create a space where men can drop the burdens of this world at the door and surrender at the feet of Jesus, TOGETHER. We, as men, were never meant to carry this weight alone. And carry the weight we must, it’s our duty. But without the strength of Jesus and the community of our brothers, that weight is unbearable. So together, we push each other to be stronger, and lift one another up when we are weak.

God is on the move in Austin 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

“Two are better than one… For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

God never intended for us to walk through life alone. Surround yourself with people who point you back to Him, encourage you when you’re weak, and help you grow in faith. The right people won’t just walk beside you, they’ll help you get back up when you fall.

Iron sharpens iron. Godly relationships matter.

HYROX is HUMBLING.

With only training for around 10 weeks, lowkey not running, and no idea knowing what I was getting into, all I can say is it was fun.

Sub 80 for the 1st one was the goal, and we squeaked it with 1:19:19. For the next 4 weeks, I’m devoting all my training for HYROX Dallas where I’m doing PRO SOLO and mixed with @isacorderr where we are gonna lay it down.

See you then!

Marine Corps Marathon up next. Seriously though, those second wind strips are legit. Didn’t know it was supposed to be that easy to breathe.
