#AlaakaaLoova ft. @royalusion 😮‍💨🇸🇬 Straight after our Singapore Kuthu workshop, we extended the choreography and decided to turn it into a project with @iswaryajayakumar’s dance team, @royalusion, who are genuinely one of the most diverse groups of dancers I’ve seen!! Their energy and determination to learn both the main choreography from the workshop and the extended section, then drill everything for sync before shooting the project past 12AM for 4 hours in the heat, was just amazing to witness! Huge thank you to everyone for your immense support in bringing this vision to life. ❤️‍🔥 Special thanks to @iswaryajayakumar for helping me manage the project and making sure the video and choreography reached their full potential despite our limited time, as well as making a cameo in the project haha!! I used to be in awe watching them dance together, whether it was Bharatham or Kuthu, and to now have the chance to dance alongside them for my own workshop really is such a full-circle moment for me! When I got this opportunity, I knew I wanted to create a cinematic experience. Nothing felt more perfect than this track. I went with a fusion of bolly and waacking, and I loved exploring these styles together. Coming back to choreography after almost 10 years reminded me how much goes into bringing an idea to life, and I learned so much along the way. A huge thank you to my incredible dancers for trusting the process, bringing this vision to life so beautifully, and being so patient throughout. ❤️ A big shoutout to @sedapmedia for capturing every frame so beautifully and helping turn this vision into reality. And as always, I’m so grateful to @iswaryajayakumar @royalusion for giving us opportunities like these to learn, explore, and grow. 🤍

#ParanthennePenne 🇸🇬🫶🏽 Took the opportunity to professionally film one of my favourite pieces from the lyrical session in Singapore. The song itself carried such a pure feeling deep inside me, and I had to express that feeling through this piece and share it with you guys.
