GAS Collective is thrilled to present two hands-on workshops as part of our upcoming exhibition 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, which will take place as part of Workman Art’s #RWMFEST 2026 Visual Arts Program ✨

Natural Paint-Making with Ashes, led by @mperaza_

📅 Sat, Oct 24 | 11AM-2PM
📍 Workman Arts OFFSITE (32 Lisgar St, 2nd Floor, Room 12, Toronto)
🎟️ $15 Tickets at workmanarts.com/rwm/schedule/ or via 🔗 in bio

During the workshop, the participants will have a chance to turn raw materials into paint and learn about the techniques the artist used to paint the mural she created for the exhibition, 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. Samples will be given to each participant to try the paint on paper.

📍 Workman Arts OFFSITE (32 Lisgar St, 2nd Floor, Room 12, Toronto)
🎟️ $15 Tickets at workmanarts.com/rwm/schedule/ or via 🔗 in bio

During the workshop, participants will work collectively on a circular hanging mobile in response to the gallery space. By making and contributing their individual sculptures to the collective work, care and attend to the surroundings.

when i think of dying, i think of meat. mist speckled warmth dry in my mouth, red caverns, falling, white sinew cirrus clouds, gravity. take shelter there. just human, i suppose. searching out breezes in a summer day. on rooftops, it's windy there. robes in god's domain. bedrooms of cut flowers, undone blouses. lips parted, no words, slow decompositions. facets embedded, so precious. young and harms, can't see your face, but you're there mingling with family, congregate picture frames, remaking itself in some way.

home.office.02 is part exhibition, event, and meshwork, gathering together canadian-connected designers and artists, whose work is grounded in a close attention to our relationships with home. our conversations, installations, and offerings will reflect on home as a space of lively convergence: material and hand, scent and energy, story and texture and mineral and chance.

like mushrooms and trees, humans expand our networks beyond physical borders. driven to grow and connect, drawn to places that hold memory and opportunity to expand our understanding of ourselves and how we live.

inspired by a space that is both studio and storefront - where process is on display, this second cohort of home.office explores transparency. looking to the often unseen qualities of objects which hold the charge of the hands that made them, their place of creation, and their individual and collective histories.

join us for home.office.02 in nyc.
