With it over a week since the GNU/UCF Winter Camp, we thought we would take a look back and reflect on the amazing week! 🥹🚀💕

The connections made in this week were truly spectacular and our staff and the students were able to build international friendships. Every student truly left an impact on every individual they encountered and it was remarkable to see these bonds unfold.

Thank you so much to the staff, both UCF and GNU, speakers, guests, and really everyone that made this camp so special. A very special thank you as well to @kxrucf @swe.ucf @sedsucf @ucfcecs and @ksc_ucf for helping provide a taste of what UCF life is like for the GNU students. We would especially like to thank the students, for their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning is what made it possible.

We cannot wait to meet again and continue this unique partnership and friendship with GNU and UCF. This immersive experience taught our students and staff how important the space coast is and why working together is so important because when we do we can “believe that all things are possible.” -Buzz Aldrin

And that is a wrap on the GNU/UCF Winter camp! 🥹🖤🚀💛

Friday was filled with so many activities! We started the day off with Jim Thomas who gave the students a technical talk on Karman Line. Then GNU met UCF! We had amazing presenters: SWE, KSC, KXR, SEDS, and the GNU students!

In the afternoon students went to the Florida Space Institute and the Institute of Simulation and Training.

We finished the night off with an all participants dinner at four rivers and crowned the Instagram Stars!

We waved goodbye and wished them safe travels this morning, we already miss them!
