It’s Friday!! On Friday we wear red. We keep our friends in our prayers daily but on Friday we lift up those who are in far off places keeping ever vigilant. We have had our share of deployments in this house and we know how hard it can be on the service member and on the families they leave behind. It never gets easier no matter how many times it happens.
.
This drawing was created by Jackson to personalize @denmother_k9 ‘s Chase Gear order awhile back. If you scroll back a ways you’ll see our post including @denmother_k9 as he was super generous in sending Jackson one of his unit patches. He is a vet tech to some badass special forces K9s aka corpsman of k9s. As we’ve grown on the gram we’ve been blessed with so many awesome people offering to give Jackson a chance to see what they do in relation to working with K9s on the law enforcement and military side of things. To continue to give back we decided to take this image and create a special patch and sticker from it. The proceeds from the sales will be given to our friends over at @mwdtsa They are a fantastic organization that supports both ends of the leash of our deployed military working dogs and their handlers by means of care packages filled with much needed items. We’ve heard from handlers first hand how much they appreciate @MWDTSA and what they do so it was a no brainer to fundraiser just for them. We hope you’ll help us in supporting another amazing part of the K9 community! They will be dropping Veterans Day on our website www.servicedogchase.com - link in our bio!

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

My love and I went exploring this past weekend. It’s funny how the universe knows exactly what you need and when. I found myself stepping out of my car in complete awe of the beauty of this state I’ve been so blessed and fortunate to live in. Sometimes all you need is to grab someone you love and escape for abit and get back to the basics.
Plus we found a little piece of Kansas to bring back home for Chris 🤪 💛🌻
Happy Halloween! 👻🎃

Great photo taken this weekend of me Alecsaundra and Chris’ mom Sylvia. You know what I see when I look at this? Reassurance of some cute ass grand babies!!! 😍 sorry if I’m getting way ahead of my self lol. I guess I should stay focused on the wedding first 🤷🏻‍♀️. #NoUglyBabiesinthisfamily #BeautifulBabiesOnly

I’ve had a lot of time to reflect these past couple of months and can i just say we live such a crazy beautiful life 💜 every one of us. These pictures are 9 months apart.
Words cannot describe the amount of growth I have experienced in these months. I have experienced pride, sadness, loneliness, strength, devastation, loss, extreme happiness and so many more emotions. Before Chris left I promised myself (and him) that I would stay busy while he was away by putting in the effort I’ve been telling myself I’d put forth to lose the weight. And I have.
I am no where near where I see myself one day, but I am taking this time to say that I am proud of how far I have come.
This past year has humbled me beyond measure and made me feel so blessed. God is good and all you have to do is believe you can do it and rely on those amazing friends, family members and even acquaintances to show you how much you can overcome. 🤗 So, thank you to the beautiful people in my life and thank you to the man who has my whole heart for loving me beyond words can describe 😘
Cheers to the rest of the year! 👏🏼💪🏼🍾

On Saturday we celebrated the life of my brother in law Art @bejaranoart He left us way too early and he will be missed. I will miss our talks and your encouragement. I will miss you checking in on me, despite it all I always felt you were in my corner. His last words to me 1 week before he passed... “You’re gonna be A-OK.... I luv your attitude and admire ur strength”. We all have another angel in Heaven. Please keep my niece @bree_lynn___ and nephew Brandon in your prayers as they learn to move forward with a lil bit of their heart in Heaven. #FamilyFirst

Happy 30th Birthday to the love of my life! 💙 I am so very thankful for you and I thank God everyday for the blessing that you are. You’ve shown me what it’s like to live a life without apologies and to do whatever it takes to make dreams happen. You are full of zeal, motivated, kind, compassionate and humble. You have been the person people look to for advice and the person who would do anything for anyone in need. I am so proud of all you’ve accomplished in 30 years of life so far. Although I’ve only known you for a small percentage of those years, I can’t wait to be with you on the rest of your life journey, my love. Cheers to 3️⃣0️⃣‼️ 😘🤗 P.S. One more year exactly until the wedding party of the century 😜

Even as I lay in bed sick as a dog right now... I can’t believe it’s already been 1️⃣ week since you presented me with the ring of my dreams that meant I get to love you forever and a day. It didn’t take much to wiggle that smile I love out of you that night. Thank you again for one of the best weekends of my life! 💚 I’m still up in the clouds ☁️ 🥰
I love you, babe.
