Where The Weird Things Are 🌳🎭 A little weirdness took over old fourth ward last night 👁️✨Last night there was a small parade of imaginative puppetry, quirky characters, and live music by Black Sheep Ensemble & Seed and Feed for an experience unlike anything else. Always love seeing Atlanta get creative and give us something a little out of the ordinary 🖤 @atlantabeltline 🙏 @mr_damons_shadow_puppets @seedandfeed @atIghostbusters #ATL #OldFourthWard #WhereTheWeirdThingsAre #puppets art

“The creative adult is the child who survived.” ~ Ursula Le Guin Please enjoy reading August’s Creativity Challenge post by guest blogger Karen Kirkpatrick (find it through my profile / linktree / blog). I met Karen years ago when we were writing cozy mysteries and met up through Sisters in Crime. Since then, we’ve both remained passionate about writing, but our journeys have taken us along different paths. When I learned Karen was part of the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable, I grew giddy and begged her to write a guest creativity post about it. I hope you love reading about her experiences as a flamboyant saxy flamingo as much as I did. Thanks, Karen, for sharing a super fun post! #creativity #creativitysparksjoy #sparkingjoythroughmusic #lovethoseflamboyantsaxyflamingos #seedandfeedmarchingabominable

Manuel’s Tavern 70th Anniversary! Hard to believe this iconic neighborhood bar is officially 70 years old today. @manuels_tavern is an awesome spot in @ponceyhighland with delicious food and a chill environment. This bar is also featured in films and TV shows like @weaponsmovie, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, @chadpowershulu, @shehulkofficial, @brockmireifc, and others. Fun fact, I ate here the first time I visited Atlanta and I’ve been going ever since! #manuelstavern #filmmaking
