The first Bubble Run was a HUGE success!!! 🙌🫧🏃‍♀️⛰️💕✨

Thank you, thank you to everyone who came out to join us—or who was with us virtually in spirit. Your support means more than you know!🙌🙌💕✨

When I first came up with the idea for this, it was really about challenging myself to get out on more trails and become more comfortable stepping outside my comfort zone. And I thought... what better way to do that than with friends?

Today’s meetup was definitely a warm one, but it was filled with smiles, bubbles, laughter, and the most amazing good vibes. It was so great seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and connecting as a community. Hearing everyone’s stories and sharing time together reminded me exactly why I wanted to create this in the first place.

To me, this is what it’s all about—sharing a love for the outdoors, moving our bodies, supporting one another, and building a community where everyone belongs.

I’m so excited for what’s ahead because this is just the beginning! Bubble Run will now be a monthly event, and August is going to be extra special... 🫧💕✨ We’re changing things up with a night run/walk featuring bubbles (of course!) and fireflies! 🫧✨

Dates and details will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

Once again, thank you to everyone who came out and made this first event so memorable. You truly make this journey better—both on the trails and off. 💕✨

Wow. What a beautiful weekend for the most beautiful couple. I feel so honored to have been apart of this special weekend.

Kailey - I may not always catch you on the dance floor, but I will always have your back girl 😘 You’re such a refreshing energy, full of some much light, beauty and whimsy. I’m so glad I cornered you at work and told you we were going to be friends, because you’re now one of my best 💘 I adore you and I’m so happy that you have found your person. I love that *our* first dance was Cutting My Fingers Off 🖤

Andy - You’re such a great guy. Truly one of the best. I’ve never seen someone so excited and their entire presence lights up just because their partner walks in the room, like you do. I’ve loved getting to know you and look forward to spending more time with you and your wifey ♥️

Congrats to you both, I’m so frikin’ happy for you and what’s to come ✨

Saturday Plunge Recap: The Beginning of the End 🧊💙
What a powerful morning at the cove! As the season begins to wind down, it’s honestly incredible to reflect on the connections we’ve built over the last few months. What started as a group of people chasing a chill has truly turned into a family.
There’s a definite bitterness to calling the end of the season, but the vibe remains unmatched. While the organized group plunges are wrapping up—mostly because wrestling for 20 parking spots is a stress we’d all rather avoid—the cold water therapy doesn’t have to stop! Finding one or two spots is a lot easier than finding twenty, so keep that momentum going.
The numbers for today:
• Water Temp: A crisp 46°F 🌡️
• Spirit: Unbreakable.
Familiar Faces & Surprise Visits
Today was all about those deep-rooted connections. We had a massive surprise when our old friend Omar showed up! Omar has been plunging with us since 2024, and having one of our original “maniacs” back in the water was the highlight of the morning. His mental strength and dedication to connecting with his inner self through the cold is always an inspiration.
We also ran into Nick, who jumped right in and matched the tribe’s energy perfectly. We hope to see more of him—he definitely has the right “cold plunge soul!”
Looking Ahead
I’ll be out of town next weekend, so it feels right to officially “close the chapter” this coming Sunday. We’re going out with a splash—expect bubbles, Easter vibes, and definitely bring your bunny ears! 🐰✨
If any of you head out to the water next week while I’m away, please send me your photos! I’ll absolutely give you a shout-out on the page to keep the fire (and ice) alive.
A Heartfelt Thank You
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me, for being consistent, and for sharing this “therapy” we’ve created together. You all make this community what it is.
Let’s give one last HOORAH together and promise to reunite the second that water drops below 60°F in October!

Stay chilly,
Yulia 🩵🫶

Who knew the most difficult part of a cold plunge on the hottest day of spring would be... finding a parking spot? 😂

Huge props to everyone who circled and stayed patient, and was determined to get that therapy in! The 87°F air had everyone heading for the water, but you stuck it out for the 45°F therapy. That’s dedication.
🌟 Today’s Legends:
• The First-Timers: Massive shoutout to Val, Alissa, Mary, Celeste and Emma (and the others whose names I missed!). You picked a wild day to start and you crushed it.
• The Returners: Awesome work coming back, Ashley and Cooper! They say the second plunge is often harder than the first, but I have a feeling you’re officially hooked.

🫧Ena, Seeley, and Ashleigh🫧—thank you for sharing all that love and energy with everyone today, your bubble love is contagious! What an incredible vibe.

📝 The “Parking Math” & Logistics
The water is 45°F, the air is 87°F, and the lots are full. Here is how we’re making these last 2–3 weekends work:
• We’ll wait for you: We usually hang back until 3:20ish. Today, we didn’t actually hit the water until 3:30 PM.
• Trust the Math: It takes about 10–15 minutes of circling, but someone leaves every 2–3 minutes. I’ve practiced this math every busy weekend and it hasn’t failed me yet!
• The Season Finale: We only have a few weekends left. If you want to plunge, we will make it work—just factor in those extra 15 minutes for the “parking plunge” first!
See you at the shoreline! 🧊🫧

Sunday’s plunge was truly something special — a reminder of what can happen when community, purpose, and good energy all come together. 🫶

This event was a collaborative project created by Eco Minded, Caitlin May, and NoCo Cold Plungers, and the turnout and spirit could not have been better. ☀️

Everyone gathered an hour before the plunge, rolling up their sleeves and jumping into the shoreline clean-up with so much enthusiasm. What could’ve felt like work turned into laughter, teamwork, music, and connection — all while caring for a place we love.🧹

With 23 amazing volunteers, plus kids, dogs, and plenty of smiles, we collected 25 pounds of MOOP (Matter Out Of Place) from the shoreline at Satanka Cove. Huge thanks to Larimer County for supporting the effort and helping make this possible.

By the time it was plunge time, something amazing happened — no one was focused on the water temperature at all. The energy was so high, the sense of community so strong, and the joy so contagious that the cold barely registered. Everyone was riding that wave of happiness, shared purpose, and togetherness, and the plunge felt like a celebration rather than a challenge. 💪

This day was about more than cold water.🤝
It was about showing up for each other, giving back to the land, and proving that when people come together with intention, incredible things happen. 🧊

✨ If you see it, pick it. ✨

Because when we all do our part, there’s nothing left behind but good memories. 🥰

We are SO GRATEFUL for every single person who showed up, helped out, and made this Sunday one we won’t forget. 💚🌎
