A little moment that I had with Storm yesterday after his session. He’s been so brave learning how to navigate a new environment and building new habits. And it’s not easy to do so as a dog where sensory overwhelm occurs a lot more frequently for them than for us on account of their more sophisticated scent and audio abilities. That’s why headphones are one of my favorite inventions in human history.

I know dogs can’t understand me, but I do think they understand the gist of it at the least❤️

12 months ago, I walked into Team Ellis with no idea where this journey would take me. Over the weekend, I stepped into the ring for my first fight.

The result wasn’t what I’d hoped for, but this experience was about so much more than a win or a loss. It was about proving to myself that I could do something hard, showcasing everything I’ve worked towards over the last year and realising I am so much more capable than I thought.

A huge thank you to all of the coaches at Team Ellis for your time, belief and support throughout this journey.

To @blakey.trains and @thriller___miller , you both are truly my biggest role models and people I look up to not just in boxing but life. Thank you for believing in me from day one, for pushing me beyond what I thought I was capable of, and for constantly reminding me that it’s not about being perfect, it’s about being 1% better every day. That’s something I’ll carry with me far beyond boxing. I truly couldn’t have done this without you both 🤍

To everyone I’ve met along the way, thank you for making this journey so special. Another big thank you to all my friends and family who came out to support me on Saturday, it means the world to me xo

And to my opponent and sister, @seema_licious_ I couldn’t have asked for a better person to share my first fight with. Thank you for pushing me to my limits and for showing me what this sport is all about. I have so much respect for you, and I’m grateful we got to share this experience together.

This is only the beginning. 🖤💛

Still FIZZING! It’s been 5 years since my first fight, so to walk away with this beauty of a belt is unreal!

So grateful for the best gym @teamellisgym and EVERYONE in it. From day dot stepping into the gym it felt like home 💛 A massive thank you to @ttuiniua for all of the training sessions and guidance, @if_the_shoe_fitz_98 our AU CHAMP and head coach, for leading us all whilst preparing for his own title fight, my corner crew @toan.pham2 @cheyennehine_ @bboyhuddo who brought the best energy, advice, and helped me prepare 💙 and to the BEST opponent, the sweetest and most vibrant woman of them all @seema_licious_ ❤️ Thank you for all the rounds, hugs, laughs, and FUN.

I am truly surrounded by such amazing people that show me how much is possible with drive, discipline and dedication.

2025 was expansive - I committed to following passion and learning, pushing forward and challenging not only myself but also many of the beliefs I had about myself. Boxing is helping me rebuild internal structures and it's not often that I feel I can say I'm proud of how I showed up.

Experiencing a sense of belonging, accompanied by trust and care from those around me has opened me up to be able to sit better in discomfort when things get hard and try to manage my fear and stress in different ways.

I can't wait to continue growing, pushing harder and see where things take me this year :)

Grateful for everyone I've connected and trained with, who've shared their time and who have supported me through change 🙏 B, @jacob.boxingcoach @clif_bar_rad @vess_ @cbtwee @seema_licious_ @lilblackkat @georgiakapp_
