Join us for the third and final encounter of our show, In Between Things. This one is an encounter with the self @boxofmoonlight_bk in Bushwick on Sat, Oct 17th @ 730pm. 🕯️

Each show in this festival is site-specific, exploring the theme of unexpected encounter through the architecture, atmosphere, and particularities of a different space.

We started with a ceremony @brooklynpeacecenter and then went through a portal @moonzescope. Now, come celebrate with us @boxofmoonlight_bk, our closing ball. Wear your best ball gowns or Halloween costumes. We’ll provide the masks!

Our show features dance, live music, visual art, and interactive installations.

What a fun time at Washington Prospect Park asking strangers: what is something unexpected you noticed today? with @sarah_yasminems and @seemonsters

Our first show was about encounters with the self so we situated people in a ceremony @brooklynpeacecenter and had them stay silent for the entire show. Our next show is about encounters with time and space @moonzescope at October 7th which is why we posted up at the park to see what strangers were noticing around them.

Some of them added to our little community mural but so many said they hadn’t noticed anything unexpected that day, which I think was maybe part of the point?

JULY 20th, 9PM, L.I.C. Bar ( @lic_bar )
Come by for some new tunes and some great company
The suggested donation is $10 but dont feel pressured, music will always remain accessible because it is important to me.
I’ll be performing some originals and covers, old and new!
This will be my first time back playing a small set that I organized myself.
It would mean a lot to see you there.
As artists, we need a village, so come show your support and meet other artists trying to make it happen as well!
Can’t wait to see ya’ll ❤️✨
BIG thanks to @seemonsters for putting this flyer together for me, check him out
