My @culturecon Day 1 custom fit by @eldiorsodeckdesign. I've been having fun customizing the look of my shades and I tried to make my face look like art per the theme. The wavy look and patterns on my face were placed to accentuate my features. I'm still blown away at how well received the way I put things together was. I just be feeling things out and hope for the best 😅🌊. Huge shout out to all the talented black photographers that shot me. You all inspire me to be better everyday 🙏🏿. 📸 1-4: @zakeydesigns 📸 5-6: @pinterest/@xianashante 📸 7-9: 🦁 📸 1-11: @seenbydonna 📸 12-14: @waveswurld 📸 15: @filmby.q 📸 16-17: @elliott_ashby #culturecon #africanfashion #afrofuture #blackphotographers #brooklynstyle

Just when I thought I wasn't gonna make it to @culturecon, I just gave up and said, "if God wants me there I'll be there." The next day I was blessed by my community. I gotta give it to @imaniimani for all the feedback she's taken on the chin and applied to make this year's Culture Con better for the attendees. It was also notable how accessible this convention was for people who may not be able to shell out the full ticket prices in these times. I'll go into detail about my experience in my recap but for now I gotta take the time to celebrate the crowd. Brooklyn is my favorite place to shoot and the beauty I see in y'all would never cease to amaze me. Lastly I have to give a special shoutout to @thebawbmobile for being my creative director and pose coordinator for some of these. It really made a difference. #culturecon #blackbeauty #musuemofus #blackart #fashionphotography
