funghi (mushrooms, panna, roasted garlic, parmigiano, fontina, arugula, lemon) with onions

💁🏻‍♀️Tucked away in a corner of the 50th street station neon red lights called to me (see last couple of slides). Fusion New York and Neapolitan style pizzas and option for Sicilian served from an open kitchen. We were caught during a work rush but the service was still friendly and fast. Funghi featured thin and crispy crust hot steam erupting between the slices. Peppery arugula, melted and creamy cheese, rich mushrooms, and I added onions for that bite. I devoured the whole pie. The ice cream was such a treat savory and sweet layers of flavor and then a hit of saltiness - olive oil amplifying the vanilla flavor. Tiramisu to me was more on the acidic side more prominent coffee and liqueur flavors than creamy. I’d love to come back and try their pineapple express pie.
