High School of Art & Design 1982 - Writers in the Kenny Gallery for our “Graffiti” exhibit. We convinced the administration that we would stop bombing/taggin’ up the school if they let us have an exhibit. Well...they let us do it & needless to say we still bombed the school...lol

From the Platform 2: More NYC Subway Graffiti, 1983-1989
Now available at www.hitzerot.com

Paul Cavalieri (CAVS) started writing graffiti in 1983. Besides getting up on the New York subways he and his brother Kenny (KEY) also became trainspotters, checking the train schedules and hunting down high quality productions from other writers. In From the Platform 2 they share more highlights from their archive.

This time the content consists of more collagues, showing tons of end-2-end burner productions, but also photo contributions from befriended writers like SENTO, SEEN, SAK, or GKAY. Once again the book also features action shots, portrait photos, traces in tunnels and documentation of fully bombed insides from this era.

Besides mostly never before published photographs and a foreword by Henry Chalfant the book is filled with quotes from CAVS, CAP, MIN, POVE, ROLIEO, WEB, MED, SAK, LEE, RAZ, MACK, PART, DEZ, BG183, BIO, SHARP, OMNI, DERO, WEN, KIRS, KKONE, LACE357, TEKAY, SEAR, COAL, SEEN, SENTO, CHRIS217, and others.

With 208 pages the hardcover has 32 additional pages compared to the first volume. It features CAP, REVOLT, QUIK, SACH, POEM, GHOST, COPE2, POVE, SPIN, KEN, T-KID, DUSTER, BLIST, SHAME125, NAIL, DELTA, PJAY, IZ THE WIZ, SADE, DUNE, RUSH, CEM, MUCH, MKAY, WEST, SHY147, OPAL, JON ONE, JSON, RAC7, DAMP, NICER, TRACY168, JASE, COMET, KNOW, REAS, KEY, VISM, DES, WANE, HIMS, BLUE, KASE2, DISZ, KYLE, SERVE, ZEAR, SHO, ZEPHYR, PER, VEN, LADY PINK, ISUE, NEON, MAGOO, ZOOM, MILK, JA, FUZZ, SAR, CES, YES2, BLADE, VINNY, RASTA, SMITH, SANE, and many more.
