Strike a pose 😋 who else is starting to feel like we’re headed towards summer?? We met up with grandma and took a visit to a local provincial park with beautiful sand dunes and a designated part of the beach just for doggos!! Was a great day to beat the crowds that the summer can often bring ⛱️☀️ we’ll share more later, but for now, it’s nap time!

Hello!!

We wanted to take an opportunity to do a bit of an intro again now that we’ve hit 1000 friends (crazy to think that in just 2 months we’ve met so many friends, thank you to everyone for building this community with us).

🐕 Mum had the opportunity to rehome Zuki two months ago, and although she originally she wasn’t looking at getting a puppy or a Shiba, Zuki is the perfect fit 💕. Zuki is a 7 month old Shiba Inu puppy!

Zuki hadn’t had any training or much socialization when mum got her, so we’re working on that now (tips and advice always welcome)!

⛺️ Mum loves doing all things outdoors and is looking forward to spending Zuki’s first summer exploring and sharing our adventures with you all! So far we’ve done hiking and biking together, but we hope to expand to camping and mountain biking soon!

🏘️ We originally started this account for funsies to share a few cute photos of Zuki, but we’ve arrived and discovered such an amazing community! As a first time and new dog owner, mum has learnt so much through all of you.

👉 We’d love to know something about you! Here are some questions to get the ball rolling or feel free to share anything else too:
- Do you have any adventure plans this year?
- How did you come to adopt your dog?
- What’s a top tip you have for working on training with a puppy?

That’s it for now - thanks for reading and sharing our adventures with us!

And…plop 😋 how’s everyone’s week going? It’s been a one of ups and downs here but luckily I’ve got a silly goofball in Zuki to put a smile on my face!!

A beautiful day for a hike! This was the longest I've gone in two years! Thanks to Britta for showing me a new trail and being patient with me as I plodded along lol. I also managed to get stuck in a bush that I'd still likely be stuck in if Britta hadn't saved me lmao. It was a great day and the dogs had a blast! #hikesinthewoods #hikes #hike #getoutside #goodfriends #hikingwithdogs

Hike with Abby today out in Fingal. The wind took our breath away, the ice hanging on the trees and shrubs sparkled in the sun, the trees creaking and talking in the wind. Pretty much had the trails to ourselves and when it started to snow it felt like we were in a snow globe, tucked away in the woods.,,❄️❄️
