We will never let the cicadas win. The day our sound was almost ruined by a spontaneous cicada outburst. Luckily, we and sound technician @jellymediaproduction figures out a way around the problem.

This was my first commercial. The YardHouse. Known for their 100 beers on tap, great food and fun times. In this picture is everyone I met that night, plus more. The kid all the way to the left, his name is Jason. In the short time I’ve known him ( since January ) we clicked right off the bat. We talked about avengers, acting, what his goals were, etc. I found out he was a writer and author, his sang, he danced, and he was extremely down to earth and personable. He was hard not to like for a young kid ( 22 ) we kept in touch and he asked me for advice often, we planned on doing scenes, demo reels, giving each other feed back, and so on. All was great, recently, I got a texted from his Dad, he informed that Jason had committed suicide two days ago on the 18th. I can’t explain why, nor do I know what battles he may have been fighting but he said he looked up to me and respected and how serious I was taking acting. In the short time I knew him, the bond we all had with him was that of a little brother. Anyone reading this, you’re not alone, there are people here for you. No matter how hard life gets, treat everyone kindly. Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about no matter the age. Give everyone grace. Spread awareness, spread love. Jason, rest in peace my friend. It was too soon.

Always listen, pay attention, and be present. It counts.
