I TOOK THE LEAP. GOD DID THE REST!!

NYFWF 2026.

When I look back at these moments, I’m reminded that sometimes the biggest thing standing between you and the thing you’ve been praying for is simply taking the first step.

All I did was apply.

Then I took another leap of faith and showed up to the virtual casting.

Then I invested in myself. I bought my tickets. I bought my husband’s VIP ticket because if I was going to do this, I wanted him to have the best seat in the house.

And somehow, what started as an application turned into THIS.

A runway experience.
A designer experience.
A room full of creatives.
New connections.
A beautiful outfit.
An incredible designer to work with.
A whole new level of confidence.

And yes… your girl was HOT and STUFFY. But outside of that? I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Was I nervous? Absolutely.

Did I have a whole panic attack over what I was going to wear to the red carpet? Absolutely. 😂

But you know what? I was THERE. And that's something I never want to overlook.

Because this wasn't just Fashion Week for me.

It was confirmation.

Confirmation that when God gives you direction, you don't have to know every detail. You just have to be willing to move.

I took the step.
I invested in myself.
I showed up.
And God handled the rest.

There isn't anything He can't do when you surrender the outcome and simply obey the direction He's giving you.

And now?

I'm already planning for next year. 👀

NYFWS 2027 is going to be bigger, better, and I'm going to be BETTER.

Next time, I don't just want to experience the runway.

I want to SMACK that runway. 😮‍💨🔥

And I'm already dreaming about taking it a step further…

✨ One day as a designer.
✨ One day as a model.

Because why choose one dream when God gave me the creativity for both? 😉

This year I took the leap.

Next year, I'm coming prepared.

Faith first. Work second. God handles the rest.
