Some places never lose their magic. Saint Catherine has been a part of so many moments over the years, and every visit leaves me with something new. It’ll always hold a special place in my heart. 🤍 #saintcatherine #southsinai #sinai #hiking #egypt

𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 | project the lighting design is conceived as an extension of the architecture, quiet, integrated, and atmospheric. hidden light sources softly define edges, textures, and transitions, allowing the material palette and geometric forms to remain the visual focus. warm linear accents enhance circulation paths and floating elements, while subtle reflections across water surfaces create a tranquil, elegant nighttime experience with a strong sense of depth and balance. a newly completed project by @ofl.ght project name: palm hills residence location: 6th of october, west Cairo, egypt lighting designer: elie meouchy @meouchy architect: the design avenue @thedesignavenue construction: urban contracting @urban_contracting photography: seif amr @seifamro #lightingdesign #lighting #design #light #egypt

𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 | project a refined balance of light and shadow shapes the outdoor experience, where architecture, landscape, and water are seamlessly connected through layered illumination. warm linear lighting emphasizes the clean geometry of the pergola and floating pool elements, while concealed accents create depth, intimacy, and visual continuity throughout the space. the lighting design was carefully composed to enhance material textures, frame key focal points, and establish a calm resort-like atmosphere after sunset. a newly completed project by @ofl.ght project name: palm hills residence location: 6th of october, west Cairo, egypt lighting designer: elie meouchy @meouchy architect: the design avenue @thedesignavenue construction: urban contracting @urban_contracting photography: seif amr @seifamro #lightingdesign #lighting #design #light #egypt

𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 | project a restrained lighting approach was used to emphasize the architectural massing, material texture, and spatial depth of the residence. warm grazing light softly reveals the rich layered façade, creating contrast and shadow play while preserving the dark, monolithic character of the architecture. concealed linear lighting enhances horizontality and floating elements, while subtle recessed fixtures maintain a clean visual language with minimal glare. the overall concept balances drama and serenity, allowing light to quietly shape the architecture rather than overpower it. a newly completed project by @ofl.ght project name: palm hills residence location: 6th of october, west Cairo, egypt lighting designer: elie meouchy @meouchy architect: the design avenue @thedesignavenue construction: urban contracting @urban_contracting photography: seif amr @seifamro #lightingdesign #lighting #design #light #egypt

𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 | project light was approached here as an architectural layer rather than a decorative addition. the concept focuses on continuity using concealed linear illumination to extend the language of the curves across the entire space, from the pool edges to the seating areas and transitional pathways. by minimizing visible fixtures and relying on integrated details, the lighting enhances the geometry without competing with it. warm tones soften the stone textures, create visual comfort, and establish a calm evening atmosphere, while the illuminated lines subtly guide movement and perception through the project. a balance between shadow, reflection, material, and form where light quietly completes the architecture. a newly completed project by @ofl.ght project name: palm hills residence location: 6th of october, west Cairo, egypt lighting designer: elie meouchy @meouchy architect: the design avenue @thedesignavenue construction: urban contracting @urban_contracting photography: seif amr @seifamro #lightingdesign #lighting #design #light #architecturallighting

It's all about lighting • Residential Lighting . . . • A layered lighting strategy developed to articulate architectural geometry and material expression while maintaining visual comfort and spatial hierarchy. The concept integrates concealed linear grazing, recessed uplighting, and controlled accent illumination to emphasize vertical planes, enhance textures, and reinforce depth perception across façade and landscape elements. • Warm color temperatures and precise beam control establish continuity between interior and exterior environments, allowing the architecture to transition naturally from daylight to nighttime identity.
