A year in review.

I struggle with Instagram during the holidays. I consume but don’t produce. Terrible for business.

Putting this here as a reminder to myself more than anything, of the things that have been achieved this year. I celebrated a big birthday this year and pushed myself to do some things whilst embracing and running towards others.

I need a reminder that I have worked hard, tried new things, started new things, and had a good year. It can get lost in the day to day.

The world is a scary place but there are good people in it and good things and making things and connecting with people make me a happier person.

So there.

2025 alive! a year of more facial expressions than i could have ever dreamed of

watched my best friend in the whole world get married, had a go on the telly, partied heartily and was blessed to be surrounded by the best people of all time

Creation is a funny thing.

Some people love the choices and the myriad options.

Some people want boundaries and straight lines.

Some want a rainbow, whilst others love monochrome.

Personally, I love straight lines when they work out, but I’m not wedded to them. I love colour whilst appreciating monochrome. Which is a fancy way of saying, there are no wrong answers when it comes to creation. Just saying.

Making something from scratch can be an emotionally charged thing.

Birthing your first ever bag, even for an experienced maker, can be exciting and ‘sooooooo SATISFYING’ 😂

Thank you @seiht for coming and choosing me to help you use a sewing machine for the first time! And for being such a great student and producing the most wonderful zipped laptop pouch. You smashed it!
