A busy weekend across the 29th Legislative District, and so much to be grateful for! Thank you to everyone who joined us knocking doors, connecting with neighbors, and showing up for Latino-owned small businesses in Spanaway and Tacoma. A special thank you to SEIU 925, our volunteers, and the families behind Taquizas Morelenses and Surtidora’s Bakery for being part of this weekend. At a time when many immigrant families and small businesses are facing uncertainty, showing up and supporting one another matters. I’m grateful for the conversations, the relationships, and the people who continue to invest their time and energy in our communities. Thank you for being part of this work! 💜

Hi everyone, My team and I have been working hard on this digital ad, and I’d love it if you could take a few minutes to watch and share it with your network. With the election approaching, we want as many people to see it as possible. This campaign is powered by people, not corporate interests, so sharing this ad will help maximize its reach. What a wonderful day filled with community and support! 💜 A huge thank you to our friends at @seiu925, @seiu775, and @ufcw367 for coming out to canvass for our campaign today! We had two incredible groups out knocking on doors, connecting with neighbors, and helping us reach more voters across the 29th District. I’m so grateful for your time, energy, and continued support! Thank you also to Allen AME Church for hosting today’s candidate forum and bringing our community together for important conversations about the issues that matter to our families. It was so good to see fellow candidates, including @reneeforhouse, and spend time with community members! Every conversation, every door knocked, and every person who shows up makes a difference. I’m so grateful for the community we’re building together! It takes all of us! 💜

With all the troubles we're having with our employers (UW's 0% offer, King County's no step increases, K12 binding conditions). We are training a new batch of leaders to join the fight for workers’ rights. 💪🏾💪🏽💪🏼 #UnionsForAll #UniteFightWin #StrongerTogether #unionstrong #1u

We know that budgets are tough right now – at the state, at the university, and in our own checking accounts. But the UW is sitting on $2 billion in unrestricted reserves, and a rainy day fund is there to get through times like these. The money is there. UW just needs to invest in us. #FairContractNow @uofwa @uwmedicine

Frontline employees are asked to do more with less, and students and patients are the ones most impacted. The University of Washington’s 0% wage increase proposal for the next two years is beyond insulting.
