It is a great honor to lead the team behind Re: Rasa International Poster Biennale 2026 at Paramadina University , a milestone that marks the emergence of Indonesia’s first international poster biennale as a platform for global dialogue through visual communication.

We were deeply honored to welcome Teuku Riefky Harsya, Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, whose presence reaffirmed the importance of design and creative practice as drivers of cultural diplomacy, innovation, and collaboration.

This inaugural edition presents 88 curated poster works from 25 countries, each representing diverse perspectives, cultures, and critical responses to today’s global issues.

How did Re:Rasa International Poster Biennale 2026 come to a close?

The final day celebrated creativity through performance, conversation, recognition, and reflection.

Visitors enjoyed a series of Art Performances, featuring musicalization of poetry, monologues, and live music that brought new energy to the exhibition. The program continued with the Artist Talk: Exploring Visual Aesthetics as a Bridge Between Cultures, where selected artists and design practitioners shared their creative processes, perspectives, and experiences in visual storytelling.

The day concluded with the Announcement and Awarding session, recognizing selected works and celebrating the remarkable contributions of artists from around the world. As the exhibition officially came to a close, Re:Rasa 2026 left behind new connections, meaningful conversations, and shared inspiration across cultures.

Day 2 continued the celebration of visual culture through hands-on learning, creative exploration, and meaningful exchanges.

Alongside the ongoing Poster Exhibition, visitors joined two engaging workshops. Beyond the Camera: Painting with Light Through Photogram Experiments invited participants to explore image-making beyond conventional photography, while Revive Your Poster: Create an Aesthetic Motion Poster Using AI Technology introduced new possibilities for transforming static poster designs into dynamic visual experiences.

Throughout the day, participants learned, experimented, and exchanged ideas, reflecting the spirit of Re:Rasa as a space where creativity, technology, and culture come together.

The first day marked the opening of Re:Rasa International Poster Biennale 2026, bringing together artists, designers, academics, and visitors to celebrate visual culture across borders.

The day began with the Opening Ceremony, followed by a Cultural Speech exploring Jakarta as a Creative City and the role of visual communication in connecting cultures. The program continued with the Creative Talk: Visual Diplomacy – How Design Connects Cultures, where inspiring speakers shared insights on the power of design as a bridge between people and cultures.
