My mother and father would say "Tun yuh han’ an’ mek fashion” or "You can turn yuh han" which in English can be interpreted as: use what you have and make the best of it.

🔐Hard Work, Problem-Solving and Possibility

As Construction Managers, we understand that things don't always go to plan. Materials may be delayed, labour may be limited, budgets may be tight, and unforeseen challenges can arise at any stage of a project.

In this case, the client wanted a fence which gave privacy plus looked good, the idea of concrete post wasn't an option.

This was my first attempt at building a fence, plus this was on concrete 😅, rather than waiting for the perfect conditions to have my first attempt building a fence on soil or grass, I assessed the situation, used my years of experience and found a way forward. @selcobw had the materials and I had the knowledge/manpower

Through initiative, determination, and practical thinking, I turned the obstacles into opportunities and kept the project moving towards its objectives. Give the client what they've asked for in the time available. The fence is 90% complete in this reel, will create another with the finished installation.

In construction, you don't always have everything you need, when you need it. But with the right mindset, experience, and determination, there's usually a solution to be found.

PROJECT COMPLETE | BARN REFURBISHMENT – DUNSFOLD ✅

A fantastic transformation completed for one of our lovely returning customers!

The brief was simple – repair the barn and make it look pretty! We think the team absolutely smashed it! 💪

The barn was fully stripped back, with structural repairs carried out, new roof boarding and bitumen roofing installed to match the existing stables, and fresh treated tongue & groove cladding throughout.

The result? A smart, practical space that’s now perfect for storing hay and machinery! 🚜

A great team effort and a finish we’re proud of! 💚

A lot of thought goes into making a garden feel just right. This project brings together considered design and practical details to create a space the whole family can enjoy.

This beautiful renovation in north west London was an amazing project with underfloor heating and wooden flooring throughout. Farrow and ball paints to finish, along with an interior to die for.

Taken a while to post. Complete transformation of this new build garden. Rear raised planters which the customers are currently in the middle of adding their own plants in. Small patio area with a shed then it drops down to their gazebo area with a larger patio - perfect for hosting summer bbq’s. Retaining brick wall whilst keeping the original steps in and another patio walk through area from their back doors. Clients are very pleased. #patio #landscaping #garden #inspiration #newbuild

One of our latest projects. 🌿

It’s often the subtler details that make a garden. Shape, form and structure, balanced with thoughtful planting to create a space that feels effortlessly considered.

As the garden matures, the planting will develop, bringing more depth, character and texture.

After much procrastination, we've finally got our first piece ready to go on sale!

Introducing The Foundry Bowl.

Every Foundry Bowl starts with cement that was destined for the skip. Bags that had split and could no longer be sold for construction use, but still had the potential to become something else.

At 12cm in diameter and 4cm deep, the Foundry Bowl is a simple, functional piece, but there's quite a bit more to making one than just pouring concrete into a mould.

We like to experiment. Sometimes we'll interrupt the concrete as it begins to set, sometimes we'll pour in stages, and sometimes we'll try something completely different just to see what happens.

Mindfulness is a big part of how we work. We don't follow exactly the same process every time, preferring to work with the material and see where it takes us.

It does mean that no two bowls are ever quite the same. Even when we try to recreate a particular finish, the concrete usually has other ideas!

Each bowl is finished with three coats of a high-quality sealer, chosen for its food-safe properties and resistance to heat and water.

We're also working on something new in the workshop: developing our own concrete care polish to help maintain and look after the pieces we make. It's still in development, but we'll share more about that soon.

For now, we're just pleased to finally be getting our first piece out of the workshop and ready for sale.
