. . A female figure drifts through restless frames, as if emerging from a fever dream or a half-forgotten nightmare. The image continuously escapes itself—fragmenting, stretching, and reforming. The exaggerated editing and unstable cuts are employed not to tell a story, but to construct a state of being; one suspended between horror, desire, hallucination, and collapse. This video artwork borrows from the visual language of slasher cinema without attempting to recreate it. What remains is merely a trace of anxiety—a trembling presence caught⁩. The music featured in this work is taken from one of the tracks on the upcoming album by the independent band Savashi. As part of an ongoing collaboration between KHALAS Art Laboratory and the band, this piece marks another step toward a broader series of independent video artworks inspired by the album’s compositions. ‪@kianmehrshabani‬‪@seldahmze‬‪@savashi.music‬‪@_farazjafari‬‪@manizmode‬anizmode⁩
