First garden party of the season!!

‘ Global Rations Presents : Auntie’s Radio ‘ is a love letter to and from Latin America.

A taste of home, recipes still evolving with each new spice. Sounds, rhythms, and flavours so familiar, spilling out into the streets from a residence with open windows. The ground beneath you emitting the energy from the footsteps near to your own.

Cumbia, Salsa, Jazz and more; all on vinyl. Reggaeton, Afro beats & Baile!

Live Performances, Dance Exhibitions, and phenomenal collaborations.

@selectaorchestraofficial successfully braves the showers as they conveys tunes of Columbia with Latina in very tight ways in terms of overall instrumentation and vocal deliveries. Even though the grass got a bit muddy, the getting up and dance vibes were definitely present especially in the last song where the crowd were kindly encouraged to get up despite the showers - I too decided to do a bit of salsa for most of the set while standing, applying what I learnt indoors from Shara Rose's salsa workshop before their set. It was fun to do with the step forward and step back feet motions though being a Beginner to salsa, it took me some time to process to simply avoid losing control of my feet as I could easily get sidetracked on which step to do next. Nevertheless the overall instrumentation and vocals are very festive in mood and vibe to evoke the mood of a festival. A set I enjoyed which got me worrying less of the showers therefore putting my mindset into the music and salsa
