Part One - Lake Atitlán

This trip was insanely necessary. I am so grateful for this beautiful group of women. The universe really gives you what you need exactly when you need it. We adventured, danced, cried, laughed until we cried, screamed, sweat, hiked, and supported each other in the most amazing ways. This group of women flawlessly became family. @afterglowadventureco did a fabulous job of organizing the best trip and attracting the perfect people.
As for the location, Guatemala was a ridiculously exciting and unique country. The people, the food, the views and the culture were all top notch. I wish I had more time and I cannot wait to go back to explore more.

Hey look! A volcano is erupting!

Feeling endlessly grateful for the women who showed up exactly as they are for 8 days in Guatemala with us. It’s not easy to lean into the uncomfortable or let yourself be fully seen, but everyone did… and you could feel the shift because of it.

There was yoga, breathwork that cracked things open in a real way, a temazcal that asked us to let go of what we’ve been holding onto and step into something new… and moments where you could actually see people soften back into themselves.
We encouraged each other as we hiked up to base camp on Acatenango and knew it was worth every moment as we listened to the volcano erupting and rumbling through the night. Not much sleep, but worth it to watch Volcán de Fuego erupt while the sun rose from the summit… moments like these I feel more connected than ever. I’m in awe of the constant raw beauty I’ve been fortunate enough to witness and experience. So proud to be partnered with two amazing women!

Thankful to all of these beautiful women that trusted us to hold space for them and in doing so, helped curate the most sacred bonds and friendships. It’s hard to believe our first international has already come to a close… still can’t seem to stop smiling about every little moment and shoutout to @danigirl_ventures for capturing them.

It’s taken me a whole week to sort out the feelings in my heart and the thoughts in my head. I’ve been trying to come up with the perfect words to describe what happened in Guatemala, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to neatly express exactly what we experienced together by the Lake or on the side of that mountain watching Volcán Fuego erupt under the stars. What started out in our minds as an adventure retreat became so much deeper, so much more profound. It was an invitation to be vulnerable, to be bold…to be alive. The Wild Woman in all of us got to HOWL- she was be seen and heard and held. I’m sobbing as I write this in UTTER gratitude and awe for these 13 goddesses I got the chance to spend time with this last week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me, for loving me, for allowing me to walk this path that I KNOW I am destined for. I will never forget you.

There are moments that change you… and then there are eight days, seven nights like this.

What unfolded here is almost impossible to put into words, a space where women arrived as individuals and left deeply woven, connected, and undeniably powerful. We witnessed strength in its rawest form, vulnerability without hesitation, and a level of openness that created something truly transformative.

Each woman brought her own energy, her own story, her own fire and together, something sacred was created. We moved with the elements, we softened, we expanded, we remembered. And in that remembering… the wild woman within each of us rose.

And somehow, in between all of that depth there was laughter that echoed through everything. The kind that turns into inside jokes you carry forever. “I’m just a girl.” Security tacos. Cayuco paddling into the wind. The little moments that somehow became everything.

To hold space for this kind of transformation is something we will never take lightly. We are endlessly grateful, not only to have guided this experience, but to have received the depth, beauty, and presence each of these women offered in return. We couldn’t have hoped for a more incredible and beautiful group of women for our first international retreat. Which wouldn’t have been the same without @ta_retreats hosting us at their breathtaking property as well as Andrea, Mateo, and the team welcoming us like family!

This wasn’t just a retreat. It was a reclamation. A remembering. A coming home to self, and to each other.

We’ll be carrying this one with us for a long, long time. ✨
