I am very Grateful for RELATIONSHIPS and Value EVERYONE that I have connected with on my Journey! At the closing of every summer break, we try to utilize the sport of youth basketball and host an event that addresses a need throughout the communities. This year, we are hosting a tournament for high school freshmen that are part of Community Based Organizations with limited resources. Every participant will have ACCESS to former collegiate student athletes who are now professional influencers who utilize their platforms to educate the next generations to maximize opportunities and reach their goals on and off the court. Thank You to my Childhood Friends, Alumni Families, Presenters and invited Guest Speakers for making a commitment to INVEST in all youth...not only 4 & 5 Star recruits. I truly Appreciate YOU ALL and what you do!!! ✊🏾💚🏀💛🙏🏾 #BLESSED #RisingTidesLiftAllBoats @smilingbellies @selegevity @educationinsports @no_quit_living @mouseytristate145 @thestoryofaj_ @productoftheprocess @idareyoutodream @j.coophoops @veronicaann_dejesus

We are thankful and pumped to announce that Paul Eromosele of Selegevity will be joining us on Mamba Day. Paul's presence at our Grassroots Community Cup will be very impactful on how participating student athletes will approach Pre-game warm-ups and Post-game recoveries. These are 2 very overlooked methods that not only can improve performance but also sustain joint health.
At SeleGevity, they Believe in Quality Over Quantity. With their State Of The Art Recovery Items Your Body Will Feel Better Then Ever.

When I started this journey as a basketball player, I never in a million years would have thought I would receive an athletic scholarship or become a factor for anybody’s team. But one thing I did have was FAITH that whatever God wanted for me would happen. This orange ball you see me dribbling has taken me to places I couldn’t even imagine, and to top it all off, I have been able to change many people’s perspectives on “US” – yes, I said us, the urban inner-city kids. Yes, we are tough; yes, we can be headcases at times, but we are also compassionate, hardworking, respectful, loving, selfless, and more.

I went through 3 surgeries in a matter of 5 years that through me into a deep depression, which I thought I could never get out of. But guess who pulled me through? I couldn’t walk, run, or jump on three different occasions, but guess who pulled me through? One of my blood brothers battled drug addiction for the majority of my life – 15+ years living on the streets, hospitalized for kidney and heart failure – but guess who pulled him through? (He’s 100% sober now, and we are finally able to build an actual relationship 🥹) Guess who pulled him through? ... Crazy, right? But I’m saying all this to let you know that it’s cool to serve Christ. Don’t ever be embarrassed to show that! It’s actually the coolest thing you can do.Everywhere I have stepped foot, I have made it cool to be God-fearing, no matter the circumstance. All glory goes to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; without him, I am nothing!

The guy you see me hugging at the end is Chase he’s autistic and suffers from seizures but is great friend to me and has one of the purest souls I have ever encountered.

Thank you guys for sticking with me during this journey ; you are my tribe, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I am forever in your favor🤞🏾.

yes, I’m a Christian.
yes, I make hypocritical mistakes.
yes, I fall and stumble.
yes, I struggle.
yes, I’m a mess.

But I’m God’s mess and HE can turn a mess into a masterpiece 🙌🏾
