A child’s imagination is limitless, it has no rules or boundaries. When a child draws they are creating whatever they want however they want. Sometimes artists loose sight of the fact we also have that freedom. Instead they just follow a formula someone else taught them. I guess it’s safer to do what you know. We need to always push ourselves and be ok with the possibility of failure because in that struggle is where we grow the most. I make myself vulnerable to the creative process, I put every part of my imagination out there. Which at times can be exhausting and nerve wracking but completely rewarding. To be able to collaborate with my son and create a tattoo that not only made him proud but also allowed me to throw all the rules out the window was a dream. This tattoo is a combination of young and mature minds. I’m proud to say my son is so stoked about this and he wants to do way more so if your interested in one of our collaboration monster tattoos dm me. @selfcultured is the proud owner of this tattoo 😎
