#setaartbuffet2026 While videos are great, it's hard to focus on the details while it's barreling along. In the spirit of slowing down to savor the moments, I'll be posting still shots for your viewing pleasure. Here's my top 10 from Jen's Thurs night texture hunting class. This really made us slow down and pay attention to some of the most mundane things like drains, concrete, bricks, stones, wood, and door springs, which magically appear so much more interesting!

We instructors work our bottoms off all year, creating, collating, collecting, and curating to make our retreat the best that it can be. Every moment, vignette, product, display, handout, and more is thoughtfully and mindfully brought to life. This video shows you the joy that manifested this year as a result of our efforts and commitment ❤️

Hands down, my favorite part of the weekend is watching our art family, new and known, thriving, laughing, learning, growing, and creating their heARTs out. Here's some of the beautiful souls who made the trek and commitment to join our sisterhood art vibe this weekend. Welcome to our heart and soul tribe. Join us next year! Save the dates June 10-13, 2027. #setaartbuffet2026

Seaside retreat 2026 blasted off with phenomenal texture hunting activity both indoors and out. It gifted us and opened our eyes to a new perspective and a different way to be present in our environment. Such a fun time for all our participants, and a great kickoff for our tribe of women this weekend! Way to go @selfesteemthroughart Jenn!

Staging area as supplies and teaching materials are made and collected. ✨
The retreat is only days away and much care has been poured into preparing for this creative time together.

I’ll be sharing my favorite techniques for transforming textiles, a creative practice that has been engaging and inspiring me this year. Fabric can be used in a myriad of creative ways in art making. Looking forward to seeing what magic gets made as folks create at this year’s Seaside ART Retreat as I teach alongside the fabulous @selfesteemthroughart and @aussiegrl154 🌊☀️✨

‘transforming textiles’ is my workshop contribution at this year’s Seaside Retreat☀️. We were able to open up two more spots for last minute registration. Info is in my bio. Have a look and see if this Newport Rhode Island creative getaway is meant for you 🌊🌿✨. We’re getting ready to welcome you June 5-7.
