Y’all, I can’t even begin to thank you enough for the experience and warm welcome extended to me, a newcomer. I was tearing up putting this reel together, thankful for all of the new friends I’ve made, and saddened that our time together has come to a close. I wish I had gotten photos with so many more of you!

Let’s start Monday with a little fun…prizes! Thank you to everyone who participated in the #sweaterweatherk2tog! Last night, I scrolled through the Ravelry thread and every Insta post using the hashtag to collect names for prizes…you all made some absolutely gorgeous sweaters. My Ravelry favorites list grew after seeing your projects. 💚 Instagram winners, I’ll contact you directly to coordinate logistics. #knitting #knittersofinstagram #knittingcommunity #knitspo #shareyourknits

💞 Community 💞 This January I had the pleasure of attending my first-ever knitting event- an amazing 4 days in the mountains of North Carolina with over 80 beautiful, kind, and talented souls. It felt like my Instagram feed came alive and I was surrounded by amazing knits and their makers! The #knittymcpurlyretreat was such a balm for my soul. It came at the 4-month mark of my husband's deployment and gave me a much-needed respite. The women there were so sweet and had such stories to tell! I loved every minute! #fiberuarychallenge #commuknitty #fiberfriends #knittymcpurly
