Some things take a minute to find the words for. This was one of them.

Acknowledging it felt like it was over…
and to be honest, we’ve been riding the high of this beautiful community we are so grateful to be a part of.

To every artist on the walls and every guest who filled this room back in May, we are endlessly moved by the creative spirit that is alive and well in Orlando.

We have all the photos from @iamdavidlawrence + @parkerart live on our website! Go take a peep 👀

🖤Thank you @tonesterpaints for the generous support and to our live entertainment sponsors @sododistrict + @unitedarts_cf 🖤

If you participated tag your art page in the comments ✨ let’s keep the circle going!

Sometimes I have to stop and look at the life I have built for myself and my family. Being invited to be a part of the 20th Anniversary show at @cityarts_orlando is beyond anything I could ever dream of. Last year I set a goal to be IN a showing at City Arts for the first time. The very next month I got my chance with the incredible @jenniferalexiscolumbus and @paulcolumbus (even if it was Mac DeMarco who showed 2 paintings 🤣)

This place feels like my new home. A place we leave our most important bunnies, a place to meet, collab and help other artists into building the best art scene.

I didn’t read my email in time so I didn’t have a piece in the show (always listen to your girlfriend) but to be asked, is by far one of the biggest honors I’ve had so far. To be invited amongst the best Orlando has to offer as shaping the scene. 🤯🤯 Truly, thank you. @bhartley827 and @teagancarregalstudio , you guys have been so detrimental to my upward success as an artist and I can’t thank you enough. What a night.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank all the people that made this happen starting with my beloved and partner @eightieslvchild who created the roster and flyer and presentation with me. Second the staff at @mtdoracenter4thearts from Paul the gallery curator who was the person who installed all the work and Vivian who assisted on getting all the info and other stuff.. to Janet who allowed us to have the place to exhibit and create a great experience for the city in mt Dora. I beleive that through education we can learn from each other and build diff perspectives on understanding different cultures and different ways to live. Mt Dora has a beautiful community that has been built around segregation in the past but through art I believe that we can help our communities find healthy healing and through conversation we can help each other grow and at the same time have fun and hopefully support the artist by purchasing their arts or commissioning them for events and such. Thank you all who came and took part of our amazing opening night, as we PROCEED We are gearing up for an artist QnA in the month of June, plz be open minded and plz bring positive vibes and remember that I’m in the business of community HEALING through the ARTS and will do what’s necessary to make that happen.. we are also gearing up for some workshops for kids and adults plz be on the lookout. Thanks!! #mtdorafl #mtdoracenterforthearts #floridaartist #creativity #artivism
