New Forest Birthday Trip 🌳

No wifi. No alarm clocks. And nothing but birds song. 🎶🐦‍⬛

This trip was so relaxing, we managed to squeeze in one last plunge in the hot tub just 20 mins before check out! 🤣🙈

The hot tub was a highlight of course. But there’s nothing quite so special as seeing half a dozen deer run across our path during our woodland walk.🦌

Nature is my happy place 🌲

I’m always so grateful when clients share their experience working with me. I want to ensure everyone feels relaxed and completely at ease on their shoots with me, and it makes me so happy to know that my clients are having a positive experience.

When I go into my shoots I approach them not just as a photographer, but also as a mother and fellow parent. I’m here to meet you as a person and to find out about you, about your kids, about your new baby - not just to take your photographs. And ultimately I hope this connection comes out in my photos. Even before I ran my photography business, when I took photos when travelling or at home I’ve always been most interested in taking photos of people. The human element is why I do what I do, and why I love photograpy so much 🫶

Proof that networking doesn’t have to be boring. 🥱

Proof that professionalism can be colourful & hilarious. 🌈

And proof that women in business are THE BUSINESS 💪.

Maybe it was the sunshine, the waterfall, the tulips, the cherry blossoms … because yesterday’s Antisocial Saunter hit all the right notes.

We laughed loudly, shared deeply and held space for curious questions that led to some real breakthrough moments for our Antisocial Socialites!

Our DMs are pinging with messages from excited female founders who are energised about their business and ready to network purposefully.

At the end of each Antisocial Saunter, we have a final “mini-adventure” before we say our farewells and this reel is the result!

Thank you for being such willing participants for our crazy networking ideas:

@noniewhite_
@ines_obm
@hellosocial.media
@joedgesocial
@selfmadeandseen
@philippahammond
@clothilderedfern
@har.leen.sehmi
Jo Whalley
Solange Lavender

🌳 87% of adults agree that being in nature makes them feel happier and frequent nature-goers have been found to feel less cynical about corporate culture.

If you need your dose of Vitamin Nature, get yourself booked onto our next Antisocial Saunter on 9th July.

The last #btnetwalks in Regent’s Park this week.

Such a buzz of energy.

Lovely to meet @natalietearebespokejewellery again and meet @anouskavocals @studio.underneath @musicalmelodieschoir @selfmadeandseen for the first time, among many energising business owners.

Brilliant to meet Bharti, the owner of @bloomsyard too.

Thank you @britainsmallbiz and BT #netwalking #smallbusiness and Bharti for your hospitality.

Oh and a beautiful blooming Chiswick prunus features on my way home 🌸

Happy International Women’s Day to the wonderful female founders I’ve met since starting my business.

One of the biggest things that has helped me start (and continue growing) my business has been the community of women around me doing the same.

Sharing just a few of the brilliant female business owners I’ve photographed. (Sorry, I didn't realise I could only tag 20!) Grateful to everyone who supports my business, and cheering on all the women building something of their own.

Looking back at 2025, I truly have to pinch myself. What started as a simple wish—to share the joy of connecting over authentic Indian food—has grown into a reality that fills my days and my kitchen with so much purpose.

Reflecting on the classes I’ve taught this year, the highlight isn't just the beautiful food we’ve created, but the moments of genuine discovery. Seeing the look of relief when a supposedly complex dish turns out to be beautifully simple, or the confidence gained from mastering a new spice, is what makes this journey so rewarding.

My goal for every class, post, and conversation has always been for you to walk away with more than just a full stomach. I want you to leave with a new skill, a time-saving hack, or a story that makes the spices in your cupboard feel a little more meaningful. Whether we’ve met in person or connected here online, thank you for being part of this growth.

As we close out this incredible year, I would love to hear from you. What is the one thing you have learned from Cook Eat Joy in 2025 that has changed the way you cook?

Please share your favourite 'golden nuggets' in the comments below.
