An excerpt from last week’s conversation on scent, attraction and modern intimacy at BYREDO in Berlin

When it comes to forming real, genuine connections, so much of it bypasses logic. It lives in the nervous system - in familiarity, safety, chemistry and resonance.

You don’t always choose what you’re drawn to. Your body knows first. 🫂

Just in time for the day of love, we hosted an intimate conversation on scent, attraction, and modern intimacy at BYREDO in Berlin with author and psychologist @pauline.stockmann. 🖤

Together, we delved into modern dating, the role of our senses in finding meaningful connection, and how to form more authentic bonds in a digital-first world.

The event was a space for curiosity, vulnerability, and honest conversation – slow, sensory, and deeply human. 🫂

Throwback to our talk about modern dating at @fotografiska.berlin ✨ We asked psychologist Pauline Stockmann why we feel so much safer meeting people on dating apps, as opposed to real life – here‘s what she said.

Before we head into the holidays, a small throwback to our last Sparks event at @fotografiska.berlin 🤍

As part of Date Night Tuesday, we spoke with @pauline.stockmann about modern dating, a topic that clearly resonates with all of us and sparked many thoughtful moments and conversations from the audience.

It was so lovely to see both new and familiar faces come together.
We’ll be sharing more event moments after the holidays.

And if you’re still looking for a last-minute holiday gift, our conversation cards are available at the Fotografiska Shop ✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us and wishing you a warm, restful holiday season 🤍
