Some houses have character. This one has thousands of glass bottles built into its walls. Omar Reese built the Hazel Park Bottle House by hand in 1937, and it’s been a Metro Detroit legend ever since. Now it’s been restored and updated so you can actually live in the landmark, not just drive by it. 🍾

The inside is warm and easy: hardwood floors, a renovated kitchen and bright, sunny living spaces. Downstairs, the walkout lower level has a bonus room ready to be your studio, office or hangout spot, and a detached 2-car garage handles the rest. Nobody will ever forget where you live.

Built in 1937 by Omar Reese, the Hazel Park Bottle House is one of the most unforgettable homes in Metro Detroit. Thousands of glass bottles are built right into its walls, and nearly 90 years later this local landmark has been thoughtfully restored for modern living without losing an ounce of its character. 🍾

Hardwood floors, a renovated kitchen and bright living spaces make it easy to live in, while the walkout lower level gives you a bonus room for an office, studio or hangout spot. Add a detached 2-car garage and you’ve got a true piece of Michigan folk architecture that people remember after seeing it once. ✨
