Now let’s talk about the Durban July 👀 For someone in recovery, it can be a high-risk zone—unless your spiritual condition is solid. When you’re grounded, though, it’s smooth sailing. Triggers lose their power, alcohol just looks like part of the decor, and what others are doing? Not your business. You’re present. You get to soak up the magic for what it is.

7 years into recovery, and I finally went. I felt like a 5-year-old! Seeing everyone through the lens God’s given me—pure, beautiful love—was incredible. What a blessing to experience people like that. What a joy.

Yazi nonke… you’re doing your best with what you know. Let’s continue loving and supporting each other. As people. As humans. ❤️🌈
