Nine years in Denmark 🫶🏼
Nine years ago today, I had my last dancing class in Mallorca, we had packed our black van with part of our belongings, 5 kids, 2 parents, drove for 2 days and arrived to Denmark the 10th, with a whole future ahead of us 🤍
It was a bittersweet day, and I miss my family in Mallorca everyday - but how lucky am I 🕊️ With 5 kids and a wife that didn’t speak a word of danish, my dad supported us all in every way possible, he’s our superhero. We moved into our family’s dancing school Pejsegaarden, which had an apartment with no heating and no warm water (we showered in the changing rooms of the dance school 😂) and I shared a bed with my 4 brothers and the dog - an adventure it was! But we were so lucky to be welcomed with open arms, and given a temporary home 🫶🏼
I’m so proud of us, and how far we’ve come 🍀🫶🏼
