KOALAHAL — FIRST DROP 👀

Shot in the chaos of Chandni Chowk, where the streets don’t just exist—they perform.

A longing for nostalgia, reimagined through noise.

This drop explores desi statement streetwear through the lens of vintage Indian matchbox art—bold, quirky, maximal, and unapologetically loud. Drawing from its playful yet powerful visual language, I’ve built my own illustrated world: desi baddies on a chaotic street food excursion.

It’s messy. It’s powerful. It’s fun.
Women owning space, eating, laughing, existing loudly and capturing humour, rebellion, and everyday desi moments through striking graphics, vibrant colours, exaggerated forms, and experimental typography.

Keeping the street alive through its stories, its chaos, its colours,while pushing it into a sharp, contemporary narrative.

Built from katran ( fabric scarps), it leans into sustainability—patching, reworking, and giving discarded materials a second life to create something intentional and new.

Kolahal isn’t quiet. It never will be.

This is also my first attempt at designing and styling garments for a full shoot
