You know, not everyone is built to be both an artist & an influencer. I seriously respect the people who can juggle both easily, but me? Well.. let’s say I’m trying my best but it also drains me the F*ck out.

The stress of constant posting, the endless comparisons & the fear of being replaced if you don’t play the game.. it gets heavy fast.
Anxiety, self-doubt & blocked creativity sneak in before you even notice.

Somewhere along the way, music -my safe place- started to feel like nothing but a numbers game:
likes, views & algorithms deciding if what I do even matters.

The „advice“ I kept hearing?
“You won’t make it unless you go viral. Unless ur songs hit trends. Get ur numbers up FAST.“

Slowly, I started to believe it.
The constant thoughts of not doing enough, of not being enough, made me lose focus & drift numb thru the routine.

How did we arrive at a place where numbers & the quantity of content define creative work more than the value of creativity itself?

At the point where I felt most disconnected from myself, I opened up my journey to my close friend Markus. With nothin but his mini camcorder, we spent 5 days across 4 shows capturing me in my most personal state, on & off stage.

When I saw the final project, something shifted. I felt grounded again, reconnected to why I started & what I love about my job. Normally, I hate watching myself on video, but for the first time, I liked who I saw & remembered the meaning DJing holds in my life.
I realized: no number & no one can take this spark away from me.

Thats why this project matters. It’s not just another vlog - its a reminder to myself:

Stop giving numbers so much power.
Stop obsessing over how the content will perform.
Stop letting toxic productivity culture steal creativity’s freedom.

What matters is creating & working with people who get me, fueled by passion & love.

I’m nervous to share this personal diary of my DJ life, but I know that when I look back in a few years, I’ll be glad I did. Not only will I see how much I’ve grown, but it also marks the moment I started finding my way back to myself.

Been making my inner child very happy lately 🎠🧁🤸‍♀️ With my 30th birthday looming (27th of July – write it down) I’ve been dedicating myself to more play, colour, lightheartedness. My 12 year old self would scream knowing what was yet to come. Doing it all for her 🤍
