One whole year of Semme Joy!!!!! 🤍

I knew pretty early on that she was a natural at this. She has an incredible eye, works her butt off, cares about the work she puts out and will jump in wherever she’s needed.

But what I’m most proud of has been watching her grow.

I’ve watched her take on more, sharpen her skills, find even more of her own style and become someone I can hand just about anything to and know she’ll figure it out. She was talented when she started, and yet I’m still constantly impressed by how much she continues to grow.

I know they say not to become friends with your employees, but that didn’t exactly work out for us... I’m pretty lucky that the person I get to work beside every day has also become one of my really great friends.

This month, Semme officially joined Aspire full-time. A year ago, I needed help. Today, I genuinely can’t imagine running this business without her.

I’m proud of what we’ve built, but I’m even more proud of the person I’ve watched her become while building it with me.

Happy one year, Sem. Aspire truly wouldn’t be Aspire without you. 🫶🏼
