What is the difference between a High Performance Athlete and a Good Athlete?

🏒Preparation - Prioritizing rest, keeping hydrated, proper recovery (proper fuel and refuel pre and post game/practices), proper stretching and activation warm ups and cool downs. Make sure your body is as prepared as possible!

🏒Practicing with a Purpose - Shooting to score, maximum effort every rep, attention to detail. Set a standard for yourself and hold yourself accountable to it.

🏒Coachable - Be like a sponge and take as much information in as you can. Get outside your comfort zone to ask questions and always be willing to learn/take feedback. Push yourself to be 1% better everyday. Those who aren’t coachable usually will hit a wall in their development and will be surpassed by other players who are willing to learn and apply feedback from their coaches.

Notice how none of these points actually require any skill? Being a High Performance Athlete is a MINDSET and is a direct reflection of how much EFFORT that YOU are willing to put into YOURSELF on a daily basis!!
