Brands ✅

First of all this season has gone wayyyyy too fast. From the engine blow at the start of round 2 thinking our season was over to the mega last few rounds we’ve had. I’ve been super fortunate to have had a lot of help from some amazing people who made sure I could get through the rest of the season. Forever grateful ❤️

Ended the year on a high this weekend at Brands. Started the weekend off strong in a wet FP1 and finished the session P2.
Qualified P10 for Race 1 on Saturday and was running well in the mix for the podium when unfortunately I crashed out of P7 on my own oil. Massive job on for my dad to get the bike fixed in hopes of getting out for race 2, massive thank you to the @sencatracing team for all of their help getting me sorted.
Race 2 I started from pole!! Got off to a good start and went into Turn 1 in 2nd. Made a few early mistakes on the wet kerbs with dry tyres but settled into the race and was comfortably 4th-5th. I lost the front 3 a bit around half way, think I just didn’t expect @alfiedavidson_28 and @coopes47 to push the pace so much, along with a few years away from racing for a podium which probably didn’t help. Crossed the line in P4 in the end which is a mega result after the last 3 years we’ve had!

It’s definitely not been easy but we’re figuring it all out again and I’m confident I can start the year off like this next year.

Following the conclusion of the final weekend of the 2026 BSB season, SENCAT Racing will end the racing operation.

Chris Barnes, Team Owner, explains the decision...

So this weekend will be the last weekend SENCAT Racing will be racing in a full British championship, I have made the decision to pull out of racing at British Superbikes and all classes as a team for 2027.
There are a number of factors that have led me to make this decision and it has been a difficult few days to say the least.

BSB has been a part of my family’s life for almost 20 years and in that time I personally have helped out so many riders and teams along with making so many friends and have 100s of great memories.

The time has come for me to concentrate on my family’s journey, with having my own business and a race team, unfortunately, something has to give.
Time is short and life is for living and despite the ups and downs of racing I have loved being a small part of British Superbikes.

I’d like to thank everyone who has helped me over the years, from the cups of coffee and cakes to the words of encouragement when needed.

To all my team and riders, you have given your all this year and I am honestly so proud of our achievements, but more so the way you have all carried yourselves, I am so so proud of you all.
To finish, I’d like to wish everyone all the best and good luck for the remainder of this weekend and for your future adventures in racing.
