Someone asked me recently if I'd ever stop going to cancer retreats. My answer: fuck no.

Last week I got to send it mountain biking in Santa Cruz. Cancer is a motherfucker, but the people and perspective it has brought into my life is a gift.

Deeply grateful for @dain_zaffke, @katie_zaffke, @senditfoundation and @santacruzbicycles for creating the space to get after it 💙

SEND IT @senditfoundation Santa Cruz 2026! My heart is full from adrenaline and gratitude from a week of adventures by the ocean and redwoods of California. This is my crew right here! The best badass survivors! Greatest food prepared with love by everyone’s Chutchie @sweetlorettas Deepest gratitude to Dain & Katie Kaffke for teaching me to shift gears so I can power up hills like when I was a kid! I feel a piece of my soul was healed by your patience, encouragement & kindness. I sincerely hope to rip down hills with you all again in the future! “YOUR MOM!” And “Things of this nature!” Love you! Mean it! 😉😘

So happy to be out with @senditfoundation to support outdoor adventures for cancer warriors. We’re on a mission to decease skin cancer while still playing hard in the places we love most. And we know the best place for healing and staying strong is out in these beautiful mountains we call home. So send it today wherever you are! #cancer #faceshots #getoutthere
