What a day! 🤩
On Sunday I ran my first ever Pump Track Race on the Gisborne @velosolutions_new_zealand track. We really do have a special community here and seeing so many riders, families and supporters come together was pretty awesome.

Huge thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, parents and everyone who helped behind the scenes to make the day happen. The support was unreal.

So cool seeing kids as young as 3 years old right through to adults out there competing and giving it a go 👏

This afternoon’s inaugural GBHS Pump Track Championships was a great success. Twelve students competed, each racing two times runs.

Junior Results
First - Lucas Nicol
Second - Thomas McFarlane
Third - Lucas Thompson

Senior Results
First - Cael Smith
Second - Sol Bevins
Third - Jeremy Bryant

Cael has had a great couple of months competing. He was second at the junior Crankworx in Rotorua, and two weeks ago won the under 16 National Pump Track Champs.

Thanks to Luke for the trophies. Thanks to Rosie for giving me a hand. The boys are looking forward to next year - bigger and better.
