The atmosphere of Valencia permeates the 62nd release from the label - a work by the bold, up-and-coming artist @yo__soyruben , out now on @sengiley_wax . The remix comes courtesy of label resident @little_sea87 , an Italian producer who delivers a progressive sound that offers a fresh take on the progressive wave style of the 1990s.

With Impulse LP, Finetune, the electronic music project of Russian musician and media artist Mikhail Komisarov, presents a ten-track exploration of sound as a vehicle for emotional transformation. Released through Singeley Wax as the third instalment in the label’s Russian Series, the album occupies a space between experimental electronica, ambient composition and a more textural, cinematic approach to electronic music.

Recommended. Compilation format, six producers, one shared idea of dub house done properly. Erratic and Nicola Brusegan open heavy on the low end, dubby without overdoing the effects. Nick Italy keeps the A side moving, no drama, just groove. Flip side goes warmer. Lorenzo Dada and Michura work more melody into the pulse, Peter Kir shuts it down slow and hypnotic. Nothing flashy, nothing filler either. Solid all the way through.
